Minimalist Under eye cream review vitamin K and retinal

Deep-set eyes, under-eye hollows, dark circles, fine lines, and puffiness all appear differently on the skin and have different treatments. Do you often notice your tear trough and wonder if it has gotten more prominent over the years? Well, me too.

Without a doctor’s appointment, it’s extremely difficult to figure out exactly why your under-eye looks the way it does. However, not everyone has the time or money for that. And the minimalist under eye cream with vitamin K and retinal seems to fix almost all your problems in one complex concoction.

Minimalist Eye Cream Claims

This product is free from sulfates, parabens, and fragrance. It is also tested by eye doctors to make sure it’s safe to be applied near the eyes.

The vitamin K is supposed to reduce dark circles and help strengthen delicate blood vessels in the area. Its 3% caffeine will help reduce puffiness and make skin tighter. It also has retinal which is different from retinol or retinoic acid, and is gentle enough for beginners. Retinal helps with fine lines and aging.

This eye cream also has multiple peptides that help with inflammation, evening out the skin tone, and better lymphatic flow. It also has some hyaluronic acid and aquaporin to keep the under-eye area hydrated.

Physical Impression and Application

The Minimalist under eye cream comes in a 14g tube with a long nozzle-like tip that allows for better application. The tube is a muted gray, and the cap is black, as per the minimalist theme.

The packaging is definitely travel-friendly and there are slim chances of it spilling out of the package. It only comes in one size variant, which is 14g which is priced at Rs 499. You can get this product from the official minimalist website.

The cream itself is slightly yellow in color and is easy to spread. It has a light cream consistency that dries easily and is non-sticky.

Review and Results

Our team of three used the minimalist under-eye cream for 1 month. We are all between the age of 20 to 30 years. The group consisted of all females and our skin types are combination and oily.

For all of us, the major concern was dark under eyes and some texture. We used this cream every night for 30 days straight. We take three small dots on each eye and apply copious amounts of the product daily.

The long nozzle of the tube makes it quite easy to measure and apply the product. The tube format can sometimes make it hard to get adequate product out and if you try too hard, you’re going to squeeze out half the cream.

Minimalist under eye cream results before and after
Before and After Results with Minimalist Under Eye Cream (2 weeks)

Two of us had visibly brighter eyes within 20 days of using the cream. I also saw a major improvement in my under-eye texture in the first 2 weeks. By the end of the month, all three of us saw significant improvement in under-eye pigmentation.

This cream was non-irritating and very easy to use. My favorite thing about using it was that, while it didn’t promise any improvement in skin texture, I definitely think that it has gotten a lot better.

While it seems like 500 is a lot for just 14g, this tiny tube goes a long way. We also felt that our under eyes were well hydrated after application.

Pros:

  • Free from sulfates, dyes, parabens, and fragrance
  • Contains hyaluronic acid that keeps the skin hydrated
  • Is affordable and lasts for months
  • Helps brighten under eyes and improves texture
  • Causes no irritation and is gentle on the skin

Cons:

  • It might be difficult to squeeze the product out at times
